Hello PlayersRankings community,
We’re excited to announce the launch of our very first PlayersRankings Weekly Newsletter, beginning the week of December 7th! Each week, you’ll find fresh player rankings, updates on upcoming sports events, injury reports, game scores, and much more.
For this inaugural edition, we’re taking a different approach. Rather than diving straight into rankings, we want to share the story of how PlayersRankings came to be. Next week, we’ll begin publishing our weekly rankings and insights—but today is about celebrating the journey that brought us here.
In 2024, sports analyst Mihali Garcia—our founder and CEO—set out to share his insights with a wider audience. He quickly realized that building a dedicated platform was the best way to do it. By early 2025, the naming process began. After exploring countless options, we finally landed on the name that felt just right: PlayersRankings.
Development kicked off in March 2025. Our team worked tirelessly to design the site, build its structure, and create strategies to reach sports fans everywhere. By June, the foundation was complete.
In July, we launched our first rankings, covering ATP, NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL. But we didn’t stop there. Soon after, we expanded to include MLS, Premier League, WTA, WNBA, and PGA. And we’re not done yet—your suggestions matter. If there’s a league you’d like us to cover, let us know!
At PlayersRankings, our lists are based on stats, experience, and momentum. We believe in transparency, so we always explain why players are ranked the way they are. And if you spot something that doesn’t look right, we welcome your feedback.
Thank you for being part of our journey!
